Genus. in 1929, Ukrainian SSR, Kharkov; Russian; higher education in 1954. graduated from the Literary Institute; writer, candidate of philological sciences. Lived in Moscow. In 1971, she converted to Orthodoxy, since that time she has been engaged in religious activities, writing books and articles on the topics of religious revival in Russia that are distributed in samizdat and tamizdat (in the journals Grani and Vestnik RHD). In 1974 she was fired from her job, deprived of the opportunity to publish in the USSR. In 1976, she began to publish the historical and educational samizdat typewritten collection "Hope (Christian Reading)". Over time, the collection began to be republished in the West by the Posev publishing house and distributed in the USSR in printed form.Arrested on 08/04/1982. Sentenced by the Moscow City Court on 04/01/1983 under article 70 part 1 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to 1 year in a penal colony and 5 years in exile. The link was serving in the Altai Territory. Released 06/28/1987. by pardon. She died on April 17, 2008.
