Litvinov Pavel Mikhailovich
Definition: Russian physicist, teacher, participant in the human rights movement in the USSR, one of the participants in the “Demonstration of the Seven” on Red Square.
Reproduction methods:
Genus. in 1940 in Moscow; higher education; physicist. Lived in Moscow. In January 1968, he made an appeal “To the world community” (jointly with L.I. Bogoraz-Brukhman regarding the trial of A.S. Ginzburg and Yu.T. Galanskov), a participant in the demonstration on Red Square on August 25, 1968. Arrested on August 25, 1968. Sentenced by the Moscow City Court on October 11, 1968 under Art. 190-1, 190-3 to 5 years of exile. He served exile in Transbaikalia and worked as an electrician in the Chita mines.
Emigrated to the United States in 1974. He was a foreign representative of the Chronicle of Current Events and participated in its republication.
