Genus. 03/12/1952 in Kuressaare, Estonia. Estonian. Secondary specialized education. Architectural technician, Art. technician of the State Construction Committee of Cultural Monuments of the ESSR. Lived in the ESSR, Tartu. Arrested on December 4, 1980 for distributing anti-Soviet literature and anti-Soviet propaganda. Sentenced by the Supreme Court of the ESSR on April 24, 1981. under Article 68 Part 1 of the Criminal Code of the ESSR to 2 years of a strict regime penal colony and 2 years of exile. He was held in penitentiary colony VS-389/36, Perm region, village. Kuchino (1981-1982) and in the village of Burkanya, Magadan Region - until July 1984. Released on July 15, 1984.
Rehabilitated on February 19, 1990 by Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the ESSR. He was a member of the Estonian Parliament in 1992-1995, and from 1988 to 1996 - a member of the Estonian National Independence Party.
