In 1946. convicted in Ternopil region. according to Article 54-1 of the Criminal Code of the Ukrainian SSR. Released in 1956 ahead of schedule. Lived in the Ukrainian SSR, Nikolaev. Arrested 07/01/1970
Sentenced by the Nikolaev Regional Court on December 18, 1970 under Art. 62 part 2 of the Criminal Code of the Ukrainian SSR to 8 years of penal colony. He served his sentence in Dubravlaga, in colony ZH-385/10 (village of Sosnovka, Mordovian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic). Released 07/01/1978 09/01/80 arrested on inspired charges of “complicity in the theft of building materials” - “built a 14.35 m fence from illegally purchased material.” 10/22/1980 sentenced by the regional court under Art. 84 part 2 of the Criminal Code of the Ukrainian SSR to 5.5 years in prison with confiscation of half of the house built with his own hands back in the 60s. He was held in criminal zones in the city of Izyaslav, Khmelnitsky region, in the village. Lozovskaya, Slavyanoserbsk district, Lugansk region. 10 days before the end of the term, at the beginning of 1986, he was sentenced to 3 years in prison for “disobedience, found in failure to complete production by 100%.”
Released on February 28, 1989. Rehabilitated on political charges, returned to Nikolaev. Since the emergence of patriotic organizations there (the Ukrainian Language Society, the Ukrainian Helsinki Union - UGS, the People's Movement of Ukraine - NRU, the Ukrainian Republican Party - SWP) he was their active member. Participant in many mass actions of national democratic forces. November 26, 2005 awarded the Order of Merit, III degree.
Buried on September 12, 2008. in his native village of Konyukhi.
