Born in 1932 in Leningrad. After the arrest and execution of his father in 1938, on 14.05.1938 he left with his mother, who was administratively exiled from Leningrad without specifying the period of exile based on the decision of the Commission of the NKVD for the Leningrad Region dated 21.04.1938. In exile, he lived in the village of Petrovskoye, Makarovsky District, Bashkir ASSR, where he later became a mathematics teacher at the school in the village of Petrovskoye, and then its director.
