Leven Leonid Petrovich
Genus. 07/22/1931 in Leningrad. From 1933 he lived with his father’s parents in Kyrgyzstan in the Dutch-German Mennonite colony. After the arrest of his father and the death of his grandfather in 1937, he moved to Leningrad to live with his mother. In 1941 he was evacuated with a boarding school, first to the Yaroslavl, then to the Chelyabinsk region, and lived in an orphanage. After the war, he found his sister in Bukhara and moved in with her in 1950. He graduated from school with a gold medal. He entered the Military Medical Academy in Leningrad in 1951, was demobilized in 1957 for health reasons, and before graduation, received a civilian diploma at the 1st Medical Institute. By assignment he worked as a doctor at the regional tuberculosis dispensary in Bukhara. Since 1960 he lived in Pushkin, a phthisiatrician. Candidate of Medical Sciences. Member of the Memorial Society since 1997. Died in Pushkin on July 22, 2015.
