Genus. 02/26/1900 in the village. Furstenau Bolshetokmak district, Dnepropetrovsk region; German; from Mennonite peasants; higher education; member of the CPSU (b) in 1921–1936. Graduated from the Communist University of National Minorities of the West (Moscow). Director of a school in Moscow, taught political economy. In Leningrad since 1928. One of the leaders of the German Pedagogical College. Before the arrest, the head. Department of Political Economy at the Institute of Culture and Associate Professor at the Institute of Red Professorships. Lived in Leningrad (Gertsen St., 53/8, apt. 9). Arrested 09/26/1936. Sentenced on December 30, 1936 by a visiting session of the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR under Art. 17-58-8, 58-11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to 10 years in prison. In custody in Solovetsky prison. By resolution of the Special Troika of the UNKVD LO dated 10.10.1937 he was sentenced to VMN. Shot on November 4, 1937 in the Sandormokh tract (Karelian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic). Rehabilitated on July 2, 1957 by the ruling of the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR
