Genus. 08/06/1899 in the village. Chernoozernoye, Kipchak parish. Orenburg district and lips; German; from Mennonites; higher education (according to other sources, specialized secondary education); member of the CPSU (b) in 1925–1936. Graduated from a rural seven-year school. In 1918 he served as a medical orderly in the White Army; deserted, until 1921 he served as a nurse in the Red Army. In 1922–1924 he studied at the German Teachers' Institute in Moscow (completed two courses). In 1925–1929 at party work in Ukraine. In Leningrad since 1930 (address before arrest: Moika River embankment, 74, apt. 26). In 1932, organizer and manager. educational part of the Leningrad German Pedagogical College. In 1932–1936 he was a graduate student at the Institute of Anthropology and Ethnography, and from February 1936 – deputy. Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences of the Pedagogical Institute. Pokrovsky. Arrested on August 27, 1936, he was accused of “creating a criminal Trotskyist group” at the German Pedagogical College. Sentenced on December 30, 1936 by a visiting session of the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR under Art. 58-8, 11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to 10 years in prison with loss of rights for 5 years and confiscation of property. In custody in Solovetsky prison. By resolution of the Special Troika of the UNKVD LO dated 10/09/1937 he was sentenced to VMN. Shot on November 2, 1937 in the Sandormokh tract (Karelian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic). Rehabilitated on July 2, 1957 by the ruling of the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR
