In 1917–1918 - member and chairman of Burnatsky, Commissioner for National Affairs of the Trans-Baikal Region, teacher at Irkutsk University; in 1921 – Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Mongolia; Until 1932 he worked in various government positions in the Mongolian People's Republic. In 1932 he was expelled from the MPR during the period of “intensification of the class struggle.” In 1932–1937 he lived in Leningrad, a researcher at the Institute of Oriental Studies of the USSR Academy of Sciences. Doctor of Philology, Corresponding Member of the USSR Academy of Sciences. Arrested 08/11/1937; sentenced by the OS under the NKVD of the USSR on September 19, 1940 to 5 years in labor camp. He died on May 14, 1942 in Sol-Iletsk prison (Orenburg region).
