Genus. in 1901 in the Ostrovsky district of the Pskov province, in the family of a priest.   He completed a course at the Pskov Theological School, and in November 1918 - a course at the Pskov Theological Seminary. From September 1921 he served as a psalm-reader in the Tolka Holy Trinity parish of Jaunlatgale district. In 1934 he was ordained a deacon and served in the Church of the Intercession in Riga. In 1938 he graduated from the Orthodox Theological Institute. Lived in Riga, st. Miera, church house. 06/14/1941 was arrested along with his wife and two daughters and deported to the Krasnoyarsk Territory, but did not make it to Siberia - he was taken off the train and taken to the Ludza NKVD, then ended up in the Urals in the city of Solikamsk. Sentenced by a Special Meeting of the NKVD of the USSR on March 14, 1942 under Art. 58–4, 58–10, 58–13 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR. Shot on 04/14/1942 (according to other sources - 04/09/1942) in Solikamsk. The family was exiled to Siberia. Rehabilitated by the decision of the Prosecutor's Office of the LSSR dated August 30, 1989.
