Gorb Vasily Ivanovich
Genus. in 1897 in Mariupol; Ukrainian; party member since 1918; higher education - Communist University. Sverdlov, Military-Political Academy. Military commissar of the battleship "Paris Commune" in 1925, military commissar of the battleship "Martha" in 1926. Deputy. head of the Leningrad Higher Naval Engineering School, then head of the political department of the Baltic Fleet submarine brigade. Rank – brigade commissar since 01/02/1936. Arrested on May 28, 1937, on charges of counter-revolutionary Trotskyist sabotage activities and an attempt on Voroshilov. Sentenced by the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR under Article 58 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR on 08/31/1937 to VMN. Rehabilitated by the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR on August 20, 1955.
