Born in 1920. Studied in Sverdlovsk. In 1940 he was mobilized into the Red Army. Served near Blagoveshchensk in the 237th motorized rifle regiment of the 69th division of the 2nd Red Banner
Far East Army. Wounded near Rzhev. In early December 1941, together with many ethnic Germans, he was sent to the Sverdlovsk region in Kamensk-Uralsky for construction work. Because of the typhus epidemic, he was sent to Karpinsk, to the zone, which was called the "labour army". in 1943 he was sent to Ivdellag, where he was declared a term: 10 years under article 58-10, by the decision of the "special meeting" of 01/05/1944. He worked as a rationing officer. Released on 03/07/1953, but not released, but sent into exile in Krasnoyarsk. Until his release in 1956, he worked at the 1st brick factory. Rehabilitated on January 21, 1960 by the Supreme Court of the RSFSR.
