He served exile in the city of Kirensk, Irkutsk region. Arrested a second time in 1937, by resolution of a special meeting of the NKVD of the USSR dated April 17, 1937, he was sentenced to 5 years in a labor camp. He served his sentence in Sevvostlag. He died in prison on May 20, 1939, according to other sources - on May 19, 1938. He was buried in the camp cemetery in the village. V. Burkhala, Yagodninsky district, Magadan region. Rehabilitated by a resolution of the Leningrad City Court dated December 14, 1957.
