Dernov Anatoly (Abraamiy) Ivanovich
Bishop of Urzhum, Bishop of the Glazov Diocese, Temporary Administrator of the Vyatka Diocese
Born in 1874 in the village of Parzi, Glazovsky District, UASSR; Russian; higher education (theological academy). Bishop of Urzhum, bishop of the Glazov diocese, temporarily administering the Vyatka diocese. Lived in the city of Vyatka. Arrested on 27.12.1923 by the Vyatka GPU department, released from custody on 25.04.1924, arrested again on 06.03.1925. On 13.11.1925 he was found guilty under Articles 69 and 121 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR, exiled for 3 years to the Zyryansk region and deprived of the right to reside in a number of cities for a period of 3 years. Arrested again on 07.05.1937 by the NKVD Directorate for the Kirov Region. Charged under Articles 58-10 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR. Sentenced by a special panel of the Supreme Court of the Udmurt ASSR on 04.11.1937 to imprisonment for 10 years. Died in custody on 01.05.1942. Rehabilitated on 27.04.1992 by the prosecutor's office of the Udmurt Republic in a criminal case from 1937 and on 10.06.1992 by the prosecutor's office of the Kirov region in a criminal case from 1925.
