In 1917-1918 - Member of the Local Council of the Russian Orthodox Church. Since 1918 - rector of the Church of All Saints on Varvarskaya Square. Arrested on August 20, 1918 by the Moscow Cheka. No charges were brought. He was imprisoned in Butyrka prison (room 78). Released on April 16, 1919. Since 1923 - Archbishop of Vladimir and Suzdal. Arrested on November 30, 1925 in Moscow. He was imprisoned in the internal prison of the OGPU on Lubyanka. In 1926-1929. was in exile in the Turukhansk region. Arrested again on October 27, 1937 in Moscow. 12/07/1937 sentenced to a troika at the NKVD in the Moscow region. to VMN. Charge: counter-revolutionary agitation, participation in the illegal counter-revolutionary church-monarchist organization of the TOC. Shot on December 10, 1937. Burial site Butovo landfill, Moscow region. Rehabilitated in June 1989. In the case of 1918-1919. rehabilitated in September 2004 by the Moscow Prosecutor's Office.
