Arrested on February 20, 1935, on charges under Article 54-11 of the Criminal Code of the Ukrainian SSR (preparation for a crime). Sentenced by a resolution of the Special Meeting of the NKVD of the USSR dated January 20, 1936. by 3 years of ITL. Released on February 16, 1939. Rehabilitated by the ruling of the judicial panel for criminal cases of the Supreme Court of the Ukrainian SSR dated February 14, 1956.
