Genus. in 1898 in Serpukhov in a family of textile workers; Russian; higher education: in 1916 he graduated from high school with a gold medal, in 1922 he graduated from the Petrograd Polytechnic Institute; member of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks), in 1922 he was secretary of the institute’s party bureau. During the First World War, he was drafted into the army, received the rank of officer, and commanded an artillery brigade. From 1923 - deputy head of the Volkhovstroy step-down substation, from 1928 - director of the boiler-turbine institute, from 1929 - deputy head of the automotive industry department - GUTAP (VATO). In 1932–1938 he lived in Gorky, worked as director of the Gorky Automobile Plant, and in April 1934 was awarded the Order of Lenin; in April 1938 he was dismissed from his position; arrested in Moscow on July 18, 1938; sentenced by the Supreme Court of the USSR Armed Forces on 09/07/1938; executed 09/07/1938; burial place - Moscow, Butovo - Kommunarka. Rehabilitated by the USSR Air Force on August 4, 1956.
