Genus. in 1863 in Staritsky district. Tver lips. in the family of N.G. Kazankov - the Governor-General of Western Siberia, a member of the State Council; Russian; from the nobles. He was the actual master of the horse of the Highest Court, served at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He was a member of the Russian Genealogical Society. At the beginning of World War I, he opened an infirmary for officers in his house on Millionnaya Street. In 1919, the Cheka was arrested for several days. In the same year, he donated his collections of antiques to the museums of Petrograd. In 1922 - a supernumerary employee of the Pushkin House of the Academy of Sciences. Arrested 07/21/1922; sentenced by the NKVD Commission on adm. deportations 09.12.1922 for deportation from Pg. for 3 years. Emigrated after 1924. Died in 1930. Buried in Paris at Sainte-Genevieve-des-Bois.
