In 1935 he lived in Leningrad, worked at the Leningrad Industrial Institute; on March 23, 1935, he was sentenced to exile in the city of Ak-Bulak, Orenburg region, by the OS under the NKVD of the USSR for bourgeois origin (according to other sources - as a member of the family of Mikhailova S.A.); by the decision of the OS of 03/16/1936 the sentence was canceled; Released from exile on April 11, 1936. In 1936–1941 he lived in Leningrad, worked at the Electrosila plant, and in 1941 he volunteered for the front. From December 1941, by decision of the People's Commissariat of Electrical Industry, he was sent to Sverdlovsk to the Electroapparat plant, where he worked until July 1956 in various positions, in recent years as chief metallurgist; since 1956 - engineer of the Central factory laboratory of the enterprise p / box 131; since 1958 - deputy director, in 1963-1974 - director of the 3rd evening department of the MEPhI branch. Author of more than 40 articles and books on metallurgy. He made a great contribution to the development of culture in Sverdlovsk-45. For many years, he led the music salon for recording classical music, which he created on a voluntary basis. He organized reader conferences, oral journals and disputes, literary evenings, musical lectures and concerts for the general population of the city. Rehabilitated by the Prosecutor's Office of Leningrad on August 30, 1989.
