Abramov Nakhman Davydovich

Genus. in 1905 in the village. Sablino, Aleksandrovsky district, Poltava region (according to other sources, Kherson province); Higher education - graduated from the Polytechnic Institute in Rostov-on-Don, civil engineer. In the Red Army since 1936, military engineer 3rd rank. Lived in Leningrad, st. Poltavskaya, 3, apt. 5. He worked as the head of the UVSR No. 224 of the Leningrad Military District and the head of the 260 UVSR of the Volga Military District. Arrested on August 31, 1937 in Saratov. Charged under Art. 58-1 "b" and 58-11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR. Sentenced on 02/02/1938 by the military tribunal of the Volga Military District in the city of Kuibyshev and by the decision of the Military Commissariat of the USSR Armed Forces dated 03/05/1938 to military service with confiscation of property and deprivation of military rank. By a resolution of the Judicial Supervisory Board of the Supreme Court of the USSR dated April 10, 1938, the sentence was changed: execution was replaced by 20 years in prison. Died 08/26/1938 in Sevvostlag, Nagaevo Bay, burial place unknown. By a resolution of the Plenum of the Supreme Court of the USSR dated April 23, 1940, the sentence was reduced to 5 years in prison without loss of rights and confiscation of property. Rehabilitated by a resolution of the Plenum of the Supreme Court of the USSR dated June 4, 1958.
