Genus. 03/12/1886 in the village. Zhigalevo, Dmitrievsky district, Kursk province (now Konyshevsky district, Kursk region). He graduated from the St. Petersburg gymnasium in 1906. In the same year he entered the geographical department of the Physics and Mathematics Faculty of St. Petersburg University. In 1918 he married Concordia Pavlovna Kuzmina. He participated in the First World War and the Civil Wars. From 1921 to 1937 - an employee of TSU. 11/23/1937 arrested by the NKVD. On December 4, 1937, he was accused of participating in the White Guard organization "Union for the Salvation of Russia", and on January 14, 1937 he was shot. Rehabilitated in July 1957.
