From January 1988 to February 1991 - Chief Specialist of the Ministry of Justice of the Chechen-Ingush Republic, from February to August 1991 - Deputy Chairman of the State Committee of the Chechen-Ingush Republic for Privatization. From August to December 1991 he was Minister of Social Security. From December 1991 to May 1993 - Chairman of the Committee on Legal Reform of the Chechen Republic (formerly the Ministry of Justice). In October 1992, he was appointed head of the Commission for solving problems of the Cossacks in the Chechen Republic. Since May 1993 - Manager of the National Bank of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria. In July 1994, he was appointed Minister of Justice and Prosecutor General of the Chechen Republic-Ichkeria. In 1995, he negotiated with the Russian side to end hostilities. On July 31, 1995, he submitted his resignation from all posts. In August 1995, he announced his retirement from active political and government activities. In 1995, he became a rural Muslim judge in the village of Kulary. At the end of October 1996 he disappeared. Further fate is unknown.
