Genus. in 1878 in Kazan. In 1902 he graduated from the Kazan Theological Academy with a degree in theology. In 1913, in the rank of hieromonk, he was appointed assistant superintendent of the Oboyan Theological School. In 1914 he was elevated to the rank of archimandrite and appointed diocesan missionary of the Ufa diocese. Since 1917 - Bishop of Zlatoust. Since 1927 - Bishop of Melekessky, vicar of the Samara diocese. Since 1928 - Bishop of Votkinsk, vicar of the Sarapul diocese. 1930-1931 - Bishop of Izhevsk and Votkinsk. Arrested in June 1931. Released from the post of Bishop of Izhevsk. In 1933 he returned to the Izhevsk department, but was soon removed again. For the third time he became the ruling bishop of Izhevsk in 1937. He died on 08/29/1938.
