Krasnov Ivan Ivanovich
Born in 1899 in the village of Zmeyevy Gorki, Staritsky district, Tver province; Russian; member of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) in 1924–1935, graduated from the Military Engineering School at the Red Army Air Force Academy. Mechanical engineer of the 2nd Air Brigade (Orsha), shift supervisor at the Krasny Gvozdilshchik plant since 1935, unemployed since June 10, 1936. Lived in Leningrad (V.O., 12th line, bldg. 16, apt. 19). Arrested in Leningrad on August 8, 1936. Sentenced by resolution of the Special Conference of the NKVD of the USSR for “participation in a counterrevolutionary Trotskyist-Zinovievist organization” to 5 years in a camp. Imprisoned in Sevvostlag (Kolyma). Sentenced a second time by the decree of the Troika of the NKVD for Dalstroi on 13.03.1938 as a member of a “counterrevolutionary insurgent organization” to capital punishment. Shot in Magadan on 13.04.1938. Rehabilitated by the Leningrad City Court on 21.02.1958 and by the Magadan Regional Court on 10.07.1961.
