Definition: Russian experimental physicist, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences (1997), employee of the Institute of Nuclear Physics of the Siberian Branch of the USSR Academy of Sciences (RAN). Advisor to the Russian Academy of Sciences, member of the Bureau of the Division of Physical Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Chairman of the Commission for Combating Pseudoscience and Falsification of Scientific Research[1][2]. Laureate of the USSR State Prize (1986).
