Kuznetsov Leonid Dmitrievich

An active participant in the democratic movement in Russia since 1989. In 1991, one of the organizers of resistance to the attempted communist coup (GKChP) in Perm. Member of the NTS since 1992, at the same time he organized the Perm organization of the NTS. In 1993–1995 - Chairman of the Ural regional organization of NTS. In 1994–1997 — Member of the NTS Leadership Circle. In May 1996, he was the presenter of the I (IV) NTS congress in Perm. In 1996, he worked in the central office of the NTS and the Posev publishing house. During the NTS split of 1996–97. took the side of the legitimate Executive Bureau, organized the work of the II (V) and III (VI) congresses of the Scientific and Technical Council in Moscow. At the II (V) Congress he was elected Chairman of the NTS Council. He remained in this position until his death.
