With the beginning of the war, she traveled from Kyiv to her sister in Tashkent, was arrested at the station in Penza on January 02, 1942, and was kept in the Penza NKVD investigative prison. She was sentenced by the military tribunal of the Penza garrison under Article 58-1a of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR (treason to the Motherland) to 10 years in labor camp. The verdict of June 28, 1942 was overturned on appeal. The criminal case was terminated by a resolution of the NKVD for the Penza region dated October 29, 1942. Liberated on 10/29/1942, according to other data - 11/02/1942. Theater expert, studied the history of the Solovetsky camp theater. Lived in St. Petersburg, member of the Memorial Society since 1988. Died in May 1994.
