Born in 1897 in the village of Voskresenskoye, Suzdal district, Vladimir province; before his arrest - member of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks). Divisional commissar, deputy head of the political department of the Pacific Fleet. Arrested on 04.10.1937. Sentenced on 23.05.1938 by the Supreme Court of the USSR to capital punishment. Rehabilitated on 14.07.1956 by a ruling   Military Collegium   Supreme Court of the USSR.
