Arrested 02/08/1938. Sentenced by the Commission of the NKVD of the USSR and the USSR Prosecutor on March 23. 1938 on charges that he was an active participant in the Latvian counter-revolutionary organization under the bureau of the Latvian Riflemen section. Shot on April 11, 1938. Burial place - Moscow region, Butovo. Rehabilitated in October 1957
