Born in 1919 in Leningrad. Lived with her parents in Leningrad (Predtechenskaya St., 69/71, apt. 32). After her father's arrest, she was administratively exiled with her mother from Leningrad to Kirov. She left for exile no later than 29.12.1937. In 1938, she entered the Kirov Pedagogical Institute. In 1939, she got married and changed her surname to Levenberg.
