Born in 1888 in the village. Barracks No. 52 Oryol railway Dvinsk district, Vitebsk province; Belarusian; from the clergy. Graduated from St. Petersburg Catholic Theological Seminary. In rank since 1914. He served as a vicar in the church in Pinsk, in 1915–1917 - a military priest, after 1917 - in the church in Polotsk. Arrested in Polotsk on 08/07/1922 for refusing to attend the opening of the relics of the blessed one. Andrey Bodolia. Sent to Vitebsk prison, 10/12/1922 released on his own recognizance. Acquitted on September 4, 1923 by the provincial court of Vitebsk. Arrested again in 1925, released due to illness. He went to Leningrad for treatment, where he later served in the Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Since September 16, 1927, administrator of the parish in the town of Chausy, Mogilev region. Arrested on August 17, 1928 in Chausy, accused of “systematic anti-Soviet agitation in sermons.” The investigation petitioned the All-Russian Central Executive Committee for an extrajudicial verdict; on February 28, 1930, the petition was granted. By resolution of the Kogpu dated March 13, 1930, he was sentenced under Art. 58-10 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to 10 years in a concentration camp. Sent to the Syzran ITL, later to the Solovetsky camp (arrived 06/16/1930). In October 1931 he was transferred to Anzer Island (Trinity business trip), where on 07/05/1932 he was arrested in a group case involving Catholic clergy. The investigation requested that L. be transferred to the Yaroslavl political isolation ward and “kept separately from everyone else.” Left on Solovki. By resolution of the Special Troika of the UNKVD LO dated 10/09/1937 he was sentenced to VMN. Shot on November 3, 1937 in the Sandormokh tract (Karelian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic). Rehabilitated on August 31, 1989 by the Prosecutor's Office of the Mogilev Region.
