In 1941 he was mobilized, served the entire war in the Baltic Fleet, and by 1945 received the rank of captain and the position of chief of staff of the Baltic Baltic Fleet air defense brigade. By a resolution of the Special Meeting of the USSR Ministry of State Security dated August 19, 1950, he was sentenced to exile in the Dzhambul region of the Kazakh SSR for a period of 5 years as an ESR. 04/26/1953. Served exile in the village. Krasnogorka, worked as a street photographer. Released from further serving of exile with the removal of his criminal record in accordance with the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of March 27, 1953 on amnesty. Rehabilitated by a resolution of the Presidium of the Leningrad City Court dated April 27, 1956. He died in 1970 in Leningrad.
