Genus. in 1964 in Klimovsk, Moscow region, Russian, dental technician. Called up to the SA in 1983. Arrested on December 2, 1985 in Leninsk (Baikonur), Kazakh SSR, on charges of espionage and disclosure of state secrets. Sentenced by the military tribunal of military unit 16666 on July 14, 1986 and by the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR on October 21, 1986 under Art. 50 part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Kazakh SSR to 8 years in a high-security penal colony with the first two years in prison. He was held in Chistopol prison from 10.10.1986 to 02.12.1987, Perm camp VS-386/35 from 20.12.1987 to 27.05.1989. Released on 06/09/1989 by a resolution of the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR dated 12/21/1988 to reduce the term from 8 years to 3.5 years. He did not seek rehabilitation. After his release, he returned to the Moscow region and worked as a technical employee at the Glasnost newspaper.
