Born September 6, 1904 in St. Petersburg, in a family of an artist; graduated from the Leningrad Agricultural Technical School, fisheries technician. Reserve lieutenant. On May 21, 1939, he was accepted as a junior research fellow at the Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky branch of NIRO (Research Institute of the Fishing Industry). Arrested in the 1940s. Died of cold.
