Genus. in 1878. In 1901 he graduated from the Orenburg Theological Seminary. Since 1923 - Bishop of Orsk (consecrated by the Renovationist episcopate), since 1924 - Bishop of Orenburg. Upon arrival at the department, he abandoned Renovationism and in 1925 became an Orthodox bishop. Arrested on March 19, 1925 by the GPU of Orenburg. On November 13, 1925, the OS Collegium of the OGPU of the RSFSR was sentenced to two years of exile under Art. 58-11. From January 1928 - Bishop of Kurgan, then - Bishop of Ostashkovsky, from 1929 - Bishop of Balashovsky, Saratov diocese, from 1933 - Bishop of Barnaul. In 1935 he was elevated to the rank of archbishop. Arrested 10/03/1936. On July 25, 1937, the troika of the NKVD in Zapsibkrai sentenced him to VMN with confiscation of property under Art. 58-10, 11. Shot on July 29, 1937. Rehabilitated 09/05/1959. The case was dismissed by the Altai Regional Court for lack of evidence of a crime. In the case of 1925, he was rehabilitated on December 2, 1999 by the Almaty prosecutor’s office on the basis of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated April 14, 1993.
