Genus. in 1897 in Vitebsk; Jew; in 1917-1934 a member of the CPSU (b), expelled; higher education (graduated from the Petrograd Polytechnic Institute). In 1930–1931 he was the director of the Leningrad Research and Reclamation Institute; in 1932 - chief engineer of one of the institutes in Moscow. In 1935 he lived in Leningrad, held the position of manager at the Hydroproject Institute. Arrested 02/04/1935 for assisting the counter-revolutionary Zinoviev group; on December 5, 1935, the OSO under the NKVD of the USSR was sentenced to exile in the village of Vorogovo, Turukhansky district, Krasnoyarsk Territory for 4 years. Sentenced by the OSO under the NKVD of the USSR on April 17, 1937 as a member of a Trotskyist organization suspected of terrorist activities to 5 years in prison. Rehabilitated by the Presidium of the Leningrad City Court on 04/27/1957.
