Born in 1881 in Kursk. Entered the Physics and Mathematics Department of St. Petersburg University, but was unable to afford the tuition fees and was expelled. Graduated from the Military Engineering School. Officer in the engineering troops. Was arrested in Samara in 1918, then arrested in Omsk on 15.01.1920 by the Provincial Cheka on charges of serving in the White Army. On 29.06.1920 the case was closed due to insufficient evidence. Was also arrested in the summer of 1927. Lived in Leningrad (ul. Khalturina, bldg. 23, apt. 64a). Chief engineer of the construction office of the District Municipal Department of the Frunzensky District. Arrested in the summer of 1938 (no later than 17.07.1938). Sentenced by a troika to 5 years in a labor camp. Imprisoned in Usollag (Solikamsk). Released 27.08.1943. Lived in Sarapul. Died 02.07.1951. Rehabilitated.
