Genus. 01.10.1913 in St. Petersburg; Russian; Higher education - graduated from the Faculty of Philology of Leningrad University. He worked as a literature and language teacher at school and technical school. Since 1939 he published poetry and poems. And it was restored in 1940 in Kalinin. Transferred to Lubyanka prison in Moscow. Sentenced on March 29, 1941 to 3 years in labor camp. In custody in a camp on Pechora, in a camp on the Kosyu River. Released in 1943. Mobilized to build an aircraft plywood plant. Demobilized in 1946. Moved to Taganrog. He worked as a teacher, inspector of the district department of public education (RONO), and head of a department of the Taganrogskaya Pravda newspaper.

Rehabilitated in 1956. In 1957 he returned to Leningrad. He was engaged in literary work: writing and publishing collections of poems, poems, articles about Soviet poetry, translations of poems from the Komi language, poems by Ukrainian and Belarusian poets. Died 1995
