In 1935 he lived in Leningrad (14 Herzen St., Apt. 1), worked as a commodity expert, head of the antiques department at the International Book. Arrested on March 24, 1935; sentenced by the NKVD Troika of the USSR on March 26, 1935 as a special service employee to exile for 5 years. Rehabilitated by the Leningrad Prosecutor's Office on September 20, 1989.
