Anokhin Yury Alekseevich
Student of the Faculty of Journalism of Moscow State University. Lived in Moscow. Arrested in the fall of 1956 for writing poetry about events in Hungary. Convicted by the Moscow City Court under Art. 58-10 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to 4 years in prison. He was kept in camp No. 7 of Dubravlag. Released in July 1960, he returned to Moscow. He graduated from the Faculty of Journalism in 1963, worked at the publishing house "Medicine", as an editor and correspondent for the Radio Committee. In 1975, on a fabricated pretext (in fact, for helping A. Gidoni, who had left for the West), he was arrested and convicted under Art. 88 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR (violation of currency transactions) to 6 years in a maximum security colony. He was held in penal colony No. 1 "Golovnaya" in the Northern Urals. In the summer of 1978, he was released on parole and, by decision of the visiting session of the Serov District Court, was sent to the city of Yeniseisk, Krasnoyarsk Territory. In 1979, the Supreme Court reduced the term by 2 years.
