Definition: Philologist, author of books on the theory of poetic speech: “Sound and Meaning” (1998) and “About Verse” (2005). Member of the Writers' Union of St. Petersburg. Winner of the “Northern Palmyra” award (1999). As a poet he performs under the pseudonym Elena Ushakova.
