Nikitin Alexey Maksimovich
Definition: Former Minister of Posts under the Provisional Government. At the time of his arrest in 1920, he was a legal adviser to the Don-Kubano-Tersky Partnership of Cooperatives. At the time of his arrest in 1930, he was an economist at Glavdortrans. At the time of his arrest in 1938, he was a legal adviser at the Transkultsporttorg office of the NKPS.

Genus. in 1876 in Nizhny Novgorod; Russian; from the bourgeoisie. Arrested in May 1920 by the Cheka in Rostov-on-Don for collaboration with the Volunteer Army. By the verdict of the Supreme Revolutionary Tribunal of the All-Russian Central Executive Committee of the RSFSR dated 09/03/1920, he was sentenced to death, replaced by imprisonment in a labor camp for 15 years. In April 1920 he was granted amnesty. Arrested for the second time on August 11, 1930, on charges of “counter-revolutionary activities.” By a resolution of the OS at the Collegium of the OGPU of the USSR dated December 13, 1930, the case was terminated. Arrested again on March 14, 1938, on charges of “counter-revolutionary activities.” By the verdict of the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR dated 04/13/1939 on the basis of Art. Art. 58-8 and 58-11 of the Criminal Code, he was sentenced to VMN. Shot on April 14, 1939 in Moscow. Rehabilitated 05/23/1991.
