Genus. in 1896 in the village of Bor, Novgorod province. The first director of the VSEGEI card factory (1938-1948). Dismissed in 1948, he got a job in the Murmansk expedition of the 5th Main Directorate, but in September 1949 he was arrested during field work. Convicted under Art. 58, paragraph 10, 12 for 8 years in the ITL, the term was served in the Inta camps (Komi Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic). Rehabilitated in 1955. After returning to Leningrad he worked in the 5th State Administration.
