1. Memoirs of Stupenkova A.A.
Memories of Anna Alekseevna Stupenkova about the day of Stalin's death, which she experienced in the Puksa-ozera camp in the Arkhangelsk region, where she was in 1943-1953, (hereinafter - the terrible reference 1953-1956). Leningrad. January 14, 1989
The appearance of guards in the barracks, accompanied by getting up from their seats all the prisoners. The appeal of one of the guards to the prisoner Yukhimets, who was repressed for her religious beliefs, with the news of the death of I.V. Stalin and her reaction: the wish of the “Kingdom of Heaven to the servant of God Joseph” since all power is from God. The overseer's demand to stand up to the prisoner T.K. Okunevskaya, who did not want to do this. Her silent refusal. After the guards left, she was accused of cowardice by her neighbors in the barracks. Their fear is that Okunevskaya's demonstrative disobedience will be perceived by the authorities as "group agitation." The despair of women, caused by the fact that nothing was said by the authorities about the fate of those who were imprisoned under Article 58.
