Apin Nikolai Davydovich

Genus. In 1897 in the village of Una, Leznensky district, Western region of the BSSR (now - the village of Uno, Lioznensky district, Vitebsk region, Belarus). From March 10, 1934, until his arrest, he worked as a carpenter (fixer of finished goods) at plywood mill No. 4 in Staraya Russa, Novgorod region. Married, two children. Arrested by the NKVD on December 21, 1937, accused of espionage and counter-revolutionary agitation on the instructions of the Latvian counter-revolutionary nationalist organization (Article 58-10 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR as amended in 1926). Convicted by a resolution of the NKVD Commission and the USSR Prosecutor dated January 17, 1938. to VMN, shot on January 27, 1938. in Leningrad, buried on Levashovskaya Heath. Rehabilitated posthumously by the ruling of the Military Tribunal of the Leningrad Military District dated November 21, 1958. (according to other sources – 02/03/1959)
