Born in 1897 in the village of Muratovo, St. Petersburg province; in a peasant family. In 1911-1916 he was an apprentice in a mechanical workshop, then a turner at the Franco-Russian and Izhevsk arms factories. In 1917-1922 he was an employee of the Petrocommun for food procurement. From 1923 a laborer, turner and rate setter at the Lenin Machine-Building Plant. In 1927 he was a student at an evening technical school. In 1931-1932 he was a student at VKTI and simultaneously a rate setter at the plant. Arrested on 03.02.1935. Sentenced by the decree of the OSO NKVD of the USSR dated 05.02.1935 to 3 years of exile in Vilyuysk, Yakut ASSR. He was arrested again in 1936, while incarcerated in Sevvostlag, where he was arrested on charges of counterrevolutionary activity. He was sentenced to capital punishment by the decree of the Troika of the NKVD Directorate for Dalstroi on 16.11.1937. He was shot on 16.11.1937.
