Genus. in 1894 in the Mogilev province. An officer in the Tsarist army, a full Knight of St. George. In 1929, he was expelled from the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) for “ideological instability, bribery and drunkenness”, was under investigation, and, according to the resolution of the OGPU Collegium dated 04/04/1930, was dismissed from the authorities. In 1931 he was accepted into the Moscow police. In 1936, he was again expelled from the party “for receiving money ‘borrowed’ from subordinates and drunkenness.”
