Born in 1896 in the village of Yanishevka, Tarashcha district, Kiev province, in a family of workers; Ukrainian; education - 4 classes; no pension; a worker at a sawmill (according to other sources, a carpenter at a paper mill) in the city of Slavuta, Khmelnytsky region, Ukrainian SSR. Arrested on 21.11.1937 on charges of counterrevolutionary activity. Sentenced on 22.12.1937   By a special meeting of the NKVD of the USSR to 10 years in a labor camp. He died in custody in the Arkhangelsk region on 14.10.1938. He was rehabilitated by the military tribunal of the Carpathian Military District on 06.09.1958.
