Arrested on October 5, 1937 for “anti-Soviet agitation.” He was held in the Petrozavodsk prison. Convicted by the department of the Military Tribunal of the Border and Internal Security of the Leningrad Military District for the AKSSR and the Murmansk District on December 22, 1937 under Article 58, sent to Arkhangelsk. After his term ended in 1946, he was exiled to Siberia until 1949. After his release, he was a worker in the Vinnitsa l/p Leningrad region. Rehabilitated by the Military Tribunal of the Leningrad Military District on June 25, 1956.
