Arrested 05/09/1933. Convicted by the Troika of the Plenipotentiary Representation of the OGPU in the Leningrad Military District on 05/07/1933 under Art. 58-6 (espionage), Art. 58-11 (participation in a counter-revolutionary organization) of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to 5 years of deportation to the Northern Territory. Released from prison in the Komi Republic on 03/09/1938 after serving his sentence.
